Key Features & Benefits
- Creates pore space: The porous particles help air move through soil and soilless mixes.
- Supports drainage: Coarse perlite helps excess water move away from the root zone.
- Keeps mixes lightweight: Expanded perlite adds volume without the weight of many mineral amendments.
- Fits varied growing methods: Use it in potting mixes, propagation media, and suitable hydroponic systems.
- Makes bulk planning simple: Each pallet provides 144 cubic feet in individually packaged bags.
Mother Earth Perlite is made from naturally occurring siliceous rock that expands when heated. Its pH-neutral composition makes it a practical choice when adjusting a mix’s physical structure while maintaining an established feeding plan. Blend it with other ingredients at a rate suited to your plants, containers, and irrigation schedule. Pre-wetting the material before mixing can help control airborne dust.
The four-cubic-foot bag size allows crews to move measured quantities to separate mixing stations or growing areas. With 20 pallets specified in every full truckload, purchasing teams can calculate storage space and material volume before placing an order.
