Blumat Jr.

This is an easy to use self-watering system and is ideal for watering your plants. Water is delivered directly through the ceramic cone and water is absorbed and readily available to plants through a thin tube. Blumat Jr. operates 24/7 with minimal setup. Plants remain in their normal locations and re-potting is not necessary.

Blumat Jr. can be used year 'round. As the soil dries, the ceramic cone delivers water gradually into the surrounding earth - thereby creating a vacuum within the cone which draws water from the nearby container of water. Once the soil is moistened the Blumat Junior will cease flowing water. It waters your plants only as needed.

Adjusting the Blumat Jr. for your indoor and outdoor plants.....
Actually no adjusting is necessary. Blumat Juniors for Houseplants will only draw water up 12 inches. If the surface of the water in your container is lower than this, the flow of water will be restricted and the plants gradually dry out. The amount of water that is delivered to your plant will vary only slightly with the location of the water supply. The container should be within this 12 inches height range. Each Blumat Jr. has a limit on how fast it can deliver water. Several cones may be necessary for larger plants in order to meet the higher water needs. In this case, a larger reservoir of water must also be available.

Blumat Regular

The Tropf-Blumat Regular acts as a regulator and dripper, just like the standard Tropf-Blumat, however, it is 5 inches long in total and has an insertion depth of between 3-4 inches. Therefore, it's application makes sense only above a container height of 12 inches (tub size 30 cm) or for a planting depth of 12 inches, typical for larger planting tubs and solitary plants in troughs on patios and roof gardens, and also for individual solitary garden shrubs.

Blumat Maxi

The Tropf-Blumat Maxi acts as a regulator and dripper, just like the standard Tropf-Blumat, however, it is 9 inches long in total and has an insertion depth of between 6-7.5 inches. Therefore, it's application makes sense only above a container height of 12 inches (tub size 30 cm) or for a planting depth of 12 inches, typical for larger planting tubs and solitary plants in troughs on patios and roof gardens, and also for individual solitary garden shrubs.
